Beaulieu Motors Museum

We left from Cardiff at 8 a.m to go to beaulieu. We drove 4 hours and a half in the coach. During this time we watched a DVD in the coach. At 12h30 we started the visit of Beaulieu motors museum. In this museum some cars and motorbike, old and recent models, were exposed. There models are exposed in a modern bulding and there is an old castle which we can visit too. There are many animations as a driving simulator, monorail and James Bond cars. In this museum many cars are rare.

This is a De Lorean. This is the car which we can see in the movie "back to the futur".

It is the funny car and advert for the orange juice. It is the ideal car to drive with friends because the sits are in round.

In this museum, there is an exposition of motorbikes, this is one exemplary. This is the must famous race motorbike, we saw this in lots of movies.

In the hall of the museum there are tuning cars and motorbikes.

In this photo we can see two Formula one cars. This cars ron on race circuits in the 90's. They Have very large weels and powerfulls motors.

The day of Wednesday

During the day of Wednesday, we have visited the Big Pit under the snow. Big Pit is disused a mine of coal . The after noon we went to the Cardiff bay. In the porthole, we have sow the model of the bay. They explains the dyke that separates the salty water and soft water. And after we were to get back to our landlady.

A first picture shows the mine outside. This little tower is a lift.

A second picture is a corriege for the coal. In the mine the digital cameras were banned.

It is a model that show the bay of Cardiff. This model there is in the Cardiff Bay Visitor Center.

This building is an desk administration old for the company of coal rail transport.

The tuesday 2nd February 2009, the day was very busy. The morning, we visited the Cardiff Castle. And the afternoon, we visited the millenium stadium. Mean while, we ate in the commercial gallery or in the city. Finaly, we drank many beer in the pub, with the group and the teachers.

The morning, we visited Cardiff Castle. It is a medieval castle of victorian and Gothic architecture .

With in the castle, their is the succession of sumptuous apartments, the winter and summer smoking Rooms, the Chancer room, the Arab room, the clok tower...

The Millenium Stadium is multifunction, because it can accommodate football game, Carling cup, Rugby with six nations and Heinekein cup, motocross, rally... He is build in 1999.

The capacity of stadium is 74 499 places. The afluence record is 76 001 during the rugby game, Wales versus France.

The name of the pub is the Birchgroove. At night, we went to a pub with the groupe and the teachers. There was the atmosphere is very relaxed. We drank many beer and we has good evening...
