Plan of the arround of Herrenchiemsee :View of Herrenchiemsee castle :
This plan helps us to find where we can find a boot to go an the Herrenchiemsee's island. Indeed, at the begining, we try to go to Mühln, in the south of Breitbrunn but the only thing we find is a old transport boat and nearly anyone!!
Then we go to Prien, a biger town, and we ate outside near a little marquet with pottery and other little things
At the beginning of afternoon, we take at last the boat for Herrenchiemsee!!

This castle is a copy of the "château de Verseille"
And it has the place of honour of Louis XIV.
Ludwig II idolize Louis XIV and he rebuilts an another castle Neuschwanstein to accomodate Louis XIV!!

Beside the castle, there are an older place on this island. It is the Augustinian Monastery. Ludwig II use this place during the building of Herrenchiemsee castle.
