TWO FOR TOP?: Comme des Garons' Rei Kawakubo may be the next player in the high-low shuffle. "[Kawakubo] contacted us to say how much she liked the Topshop Unique fall/winter collection that she'd seen online, and to say she may be interested in some sort of future collaboration - though nothing's Cheap Glashutte Watches," a Topshop spokesman said on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Topshop already has fixed its next guest star: Celia Birtwell, the famed print designer and ex-wife of fashion legend Ossie Clark. The line, dubbed Celia Birtwell for Topshop, retailing from about $40 to $120, will be unveiled April 26 at its Oxford Circus store in London.

WORLDS COLLIDE: It's a rare happening that Tiffany & Co. pipes Color Me Badd's classic "I Want to Sex You Up" through the speakers of its patrician Fifth Avenue flagship. Hip-hop, however, was architect Frank Gehry's personal request of DJ AM, who spun for the New York launch of Gehry's collection of jewelry for the firm on Monday night. A mix of young and seasoned celebrities came to congratulate Gehry - who created, among other silver and gold jewelry, a $1 million brooch of platinum and baguette Cheap Graham Watches modeled after the floor plan of the Guggenheim in Bilbao, Spain, which he designed. Also on hand were Ashton Kutcher, Lake Bell, Kristin Chenoweth, Susan Sarandon, Billy Crystal, Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick.

PARTY LINE: Who said politics and fashion don't mix? Christophe Girard, director of fashion strategy at LVMH and a deputy mayor of Paris, next month will receive an honorary doctorate from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, a degree already bestowed on the likes of Azzedine Alaa. Meanwhile, Girard, surely one of the busiest men in Paris, still finds time to pen books: Two are slated for a May release. One is a novel he wrote 12 years ago about a French youth growing up in the revolutionary Sixties. The other, entitled "A Father Like Any Other," is more explosive. Girard bills it as "the first time in France an openly gay politician speaks about being a father." Girard wrote the book with his son, David, 23, a philosophy student.

FACE TIME: Models - plenty of them - seem to be the formula de jour at Cheap Hamilton Watches fashion houses as they shoot their fall/winter ad campaigns. A week after Louis Vuitton wrapped up its spots featuring Naomi Campbell, Du Juan and others comes word that Givenchy has reached beyond house regular Mariacarla Bonscono and cast Liya Kedebe and Stella Tennant, too. Photographers Ines van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin lensed the Givenchy spots last week in Paris.

A BEVY OF BLASS: Michael Vollbracht is cranking up the star wattage at Bill Blass. Julia Roberts is on the May cover of Vanity Fair's green issue in a Bill Blass gown, and Oprah Winfrey chose a print taffeta shirtwaist dress for O's May cover shot. Vollbracht also is dressing Jessica Lange in a blue strapless chiffon dress when the two-time Academy Award winner becomes only the second woman to be honored by the Film Society of Lincoln Center. Barbara Walters buzzed by the Blass showroom Tuesday to put the finishing touches on the dress she plans to wear to the Emmys, and Elizabeth Taylor already has put dibs in for a frock to wear in a shoot for Harper's Bazaar's July edition. But the median age of the designer's clientele appears to Cheap Hublot Watches balancing out, as evidenced by Kristin Cavallari's Blass-clad cover shot on the May issue of Teen People, and Eva Longoria, who's said to be working with the line for an upcoming Latin Vogue cover.
